Not done yet..!

Hey~! This is just a quick check-in, for those who are following development..!

Kemopop!1.2 is being penned with new features and expanded gameplay, so please expect an update later this month…! Also, more guest art by contributor artists is on the way!! I really love that I have friends who want to create something for this…

If you were looking for a save export feature to transfer saves from web to desktop, that feature is coming, as well as some other features you haven’t asked for…! I’ll also definitely be adding more image sets for the existing characters in the game, to expand on them all some more.

And an early warning, at some point the sale price of Kemopop! will be raised by a dollar or two. Taxes and itch.io contribution take quite a chunk away, and the content available in the game is only increasing…! I’m not taking the itch.io contributor fee off, as otherwise it would not be selling in the first place. I am very grateful that this platform exists.

In summary, I wanted to emphasise that Kemopop! isn’t going away anytime soon. I want at least twice the amount of content that currently exists before I even think of concluding development…! I hope you have enjoyed the game so far.

I’ve been in the US all last week, and this weekend I’ll be at Furry Weekend Atlanta. If you are there, look out for a certain blue cat…! Say hello!!

I'm not familiar with how itch.io works, if the price goes up will I have to buy it again for the new updates or will I still have access to them? I honestly was surprised when I purchased it due to the VAT not being included, that's something that I had never seen before when buying anything from my country.

from my understanding you'll keep what you have purchased since your copy of the game is a ticket in your itch library. I think that makes sense to me since I have the ability to give out download keys if I want to.

and if I were wrong, I'd revert such a change immediately @w@

this is news to me @w@ but I guess makes sense, itch is an American entity.

Whenever I buy something in my country, even online, I'm always used to see VAT being included in price instead of only showing up during checkout, this is a small purchase so it wasn't a big deal but I was surprised when the checkout asked me for more money I was shown.
