New Gao on the Block~!
Meet Cyro!!
Cyro is a new guest character by Drugoll. Drugoll loves to draw chibis, and contributed a delivery boy~! Give him a tip, gao...
This update makes many improvements in preparation for the future. Several visual improvements have been made all around~!
New Settings!
The following settings have been added:
- FPS Limiter: The game will now match your refresh rate by default, making for smoother gameplay on fancy displays (this may not always work on the web version). Enable the FPS limiter to target a certain framerate to reduce energy and CPU use.
- Show FPS: Self-explanatory.
- Save Data Export & Import: These new options in the Data menu allow for cross-platform transfer.
Incompatible or redundant options on the web version (fullscreen, mouse lock) are now hidden when playing the web version.
Additionally:
- The character select UI has been updated. Variations of a character are now separated from the character list, to allow more room for new characters.
- The scene count (how many unique images there are per character) is now exposed on the character biography.
- You can now modify the settings from the in-game pause menu.
- The photo mode scene selection will now cap at the highest unlocked scene, instead of the highest reached level.
- New sound effects have been added for the Cherry Bomb and Shrink Ray.
- Fix: Some backgrounds were not scaled properly in photo mode with wider screens.
- Fix: An issue where resuming play after pausing would sometimes end the game early under certain conditions
- Fix: Cleaner exit transition; the game will no longer briefly resume play while quitting back to the main menu which would grant a bunch of score.
And thank you for your support!! The next update will extend gameplay further as more characters are added.

1.2.1: This patch introduces asynchronous scene loading. Loading every character at once was inflating video RAM requirements to 1.6GB.
1.2.2: This patch uses synchronous loading instead - there's a memory leak with the async loading and I'm not sure why. The game will pause for a second during a character switch, but it will no longer consume unreasonable amounts of RAM and VRAM. I'll improve the loading process later. This had to be worked on sooner or later, anyway. On the bright side, it consumes little RAM and doesn't seem to crash Safari anymore...!!!
