Gameplay Adjustments

In response to feedback, the score algorithm has been adjusted (again).  This should make it easier to climb out of level 1, but further progression should be a little slower to compensate. At least you'll have something to distract you...! The scoring algorithm will probably be tweaked again in future updates - for now I want to make sure there's something fairly accessible. As more stages are added, some may be deliberately more challenging.

The range of Shrink Ray has been increased, and now fires out in a conical trajectory. It’s way more powerful than it used to be…!!

Other Changes

  • The overflow warning has been updated to be a bit more engaging...! A new sound cue has been added here.
  • User data and settings are now split - exporting, importing and resetting will not override user settings; only unlocked characters, achievements, tutorials and statistics. This will prevent data import from messing with control setups.
    •  You do not have to do anything, a settings file will be created using the settings in your user data.
  • Fix: localisation of Azura and Cyro refill quotes was broken.
  • Fix: hyper unlock cheat was not working correctly since last update.
  • Fix: The minimum rapid fire interval is now 0.1 seconds, to prevent silliness.

ooh! I love the sneak peek of the characters ahead!! ( I already think they're adorable! X3 )  Will one of them be a hyper? (or both?)

The initial levels aren't going to be hyper...! There will definitely be more hyper levels in the future, though :3
