Brock and Khloe are new characters in this release! Each character has their own unique unlock requirement.

A lot has changed in this update, specifically the new character unlock system, which is now decoupled from the achievement system. If continuing from an older save, you'll see an unlock screen for every character you have so far.

UI Improvements!!

New tooltips have been added for character icons. This allows them to be compatible with button-only control (keyboards and controllers). They've also been polished a little bit...!

I want this game to be fully playable with a controller. This isn't something I've been committing to, until this update.

• The high score on the character select screen is now replaced with level progression.
• The switching of characters no longer freezes the game.
• There is now some new eye candy when a game begins.
• The pause overlay was not focusing buttons for button navigation as intended; this has been fixed for both pause presses and exiting the settings screen.
• The dead zone for the controller left stick has been adjusted.
• The drop control has been rebound to Xbox A / PSX Cross. For some reason, I accidentally bound this to Y/Triangle. 
• The special control is now bound to both B/Circle and X/Square.
• Character unlock hint tooltips now instruct what you need to do, rather than naming an achievement.
• The Achievements UI has been touched up and is now fully button-navigable.

The Settings pane is not yet controller-friendly and will need a redesign. But for now, the game is mostly playable with a controller.

Gameplay Balancing

I'm playtesting the levels to try to make a better ratio of time taken <> difficulty <> reward.

• Score values are slightly increased.
• In Mocha's stage, tar is no longer part of the player's drop bag.
• In Suika levels, $60 is now required to advance (from $50).

Other Changes

• The gamemode icons have been redrawn for better cohesion with the rest of the game.
  
• SFW Mode has been added. When enabled, characters are locked to the first image of their set...
  • ...but this doesn't mean it is truly SFW. Your mileage may vary with the rules of streaming sites, etc when it comes to bulge @w@
    
• Sweets now appear at random orientations, instead of keeping a fixed rotation when dropping.
• Combo multiplier achievements are now granted as soon as possible, instead of at game over.
• Music looping no longer features a stutter.
• The score system format has changed.
• Fisk is now an unlockable character.
• New achievements. Some achievements have been changed.
• Bonus Tools: The "unlock all" option is now for characters, so you can do achievements separately.
